– 113g or ½ cup butter unsalted– 85g or ½ cup dark chocolate bar chopped, 70% cocoa solid– 100g or ½ cup brown sugar– 100g or ½ cup granulated sugar– 2 large egg– ¾ tsp baking soda– ¾ tsp fine sea salt– 125g or 1 cup all purpose flour– 50g or ½ cup dutch process cocoa

Put the butter and chocolate in a large bowl that can withstand high temperatures. Prepare by heating in the microwave for one minute ,

then stirring and continuing to heat for another minute. Stir the mixture until the butter and chocolate have completely melted and become smooth. Following the addition of the sugars,

place the bowl back into the microwave for an additional minute. The mixture will appear to be somewhat separated if you whisk it very vigorously.
STEP 3.
To ensure that the batter is glossy and smooth, add the eggs and whisk them for an additional minute. After adding the remaining ingredients, stir them together to combine them.
STEP 4.
It is important to place the bowl in the refrigerator for at least four hours, or overnight, with the lid off. This will ensure that the edges become crispy.
STEP 5.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Two cookie sheets that have been greased should be lined with parchment paper.
STEP 6.
Place approximately 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of the cookie dough in each of the individual portions onto the sheet. Ten to twelve minutes in the oven.
